Symbolism Tools - Random Sizes when spray symbol

I have created a symbol which I would like to spray onto the artwork. But I would like the spray to be random in size when spraying? I can spray and then re-size after using the symbol sizer. Im not sure how best to use the Symbolism Tools Options using the User Defined etc...

You can do something like that by first placing one symbol instance on the scratch area, then spraying with the Symbol Sizer tool while holding down the Option and Shift key. For variations, release the Shift key, but still hold down the Option key. And vice versa.

Note that you have to turn on the User-defined option for Scaling/Sizing in the Symbol Tools options. Also, you can turn on the Random option in the Symbol Sizer options.
